Crestview School :

Crestview School

Crestview has a wholesome, old-fashioned feeling of a small school from 50 years ago. The children play in a large, grassy play yard equipped with swings and climbing structures, among them a wonderful rocket ship that even I wanted to climb into! The school uses the soccer/baseball community field next door.

What appeals to many of the parents considering Crestview is:
1. It’s not high-pressure.
2. The property has a large, grassy play-yard.
3. It has a small-town feel to it.
4. It’s less expensive than many of the other area-schools.

While visiting the school, I found all of these things to be true. In the last five years they have moved the day care, which used to share space with the library and computer center into a new building directly behind the library. Extended daycare is available from 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. The existing library is now quite a bit bigger and is entirely computerized with CD Rom capabilities. They have also added a second 4th grade class, and each classroom is equipped with several computers.
